A tiny, rounded canary that looks like a scaled-down Border. It has a round, well-filled head, a body that is round from every angle, tight smooth feathering, wings meeting neatly below the tail base, and a slim tail. It stands at about 60 degrees.21

The story where it all began

As the Border canary grew larger after the Second World War, fanciers in Fife, Scotland, worked in the 1950s to bring back the small original size. The result was the Fife Fancy, which has become one of the most popular canary breeds in Britain.13
